Being Honest about YOUR Business

As I have been developing my business that is designed to help others fix their business I have discovered a few things. Business owners who are not doing their best in business are very rarely honest with themselves about their business!
I'm not sure why this is except to pontificate that we do not want to tell ourselves we need help! This could be a generational thing or it could be a gender issue (mostly men! ha) but I think it can go a little deeper than that and tap into the emotion of not wanting to admit we are failing.
I am writing this blog to simply say this - its ok to ask for help! Its ok to not be doing ok! the first step is simply to reach out to someone who like myself has built a business designed to help businesses!
Let someone else look at your situation with a fresh perspective. Get insight into what or who could be dragging your business down even if it is YOU!
I have seen too many businesses go to long with one person at the helm, the Owner who didn't want to let go of control or every facet of the business for one reason or another and ended up watching their business sink into oblivion! Or the sales person (real estate or mortgage) who didn't want to add a team member for fear of "making less money" and ended up never scaling their business, or the small sized business who wouldn't adapt to technology claiming they didn't want to waste their money on something that "wouldn't catch on".
These numerous issues are reasons why generational businesses end or startups don't
progress, and all they needed to do was ask for help.
Don't be that business! ask for help!
